I don't expect perfection form umpires but what bugs me so much is bad calls on pitches that were never strikes.

I can see with the ridiculous velo and spin how an ump can call a pitch that starts in the middle and breaks hard off the plate could be called a strike, but pitches that start off the plate and never once come close are just inexcusable.

Yeah, that's the only time I've sang karaoke. Thought it was something of a prerequisite, lol.
I have a decent voice so I can sing sober but with certain songs I prefer a lot of liquid courage lol

Don't have the time to look at all the picks so far but I'm also extremely excited about Bryce Boettcher from Oregon. He got the collegiate gold glove award so you already know he's an elite level defensive CF. He's a big guy at 6-2, 220 who has been a dual sport kid on the Oregon football team as a LB. As you could imagine, he's still very raw but took a big step forward hitting 12 HR's this year for the Ducks with significant improvements in his K rate (23% to 18%). I think the development guys will love getting ahold of this type of athlete.

With the rise of NIL, it's going to be interesting to see how many MLB prospects elect to go through college and then spend a short time in the minors. The Skenes of the world may become more frequent. I would bet we see Cags in MLB by this time next year.
