Even if he comes back strong, it's going to be September where we could realistically expect him to be turning in full efforts where he feels like part of the rotation. The issue there is that you have to expect that Brown/Arrighetti aren't far from the form we've seen the last turn through the rotation.
Yes, it sucks having 4 guys that you expect to be starters on the IL…but it feels like the scene from Austin Powers where the security guard starts screaming for his life 50 ft in front of the slow moving steamroller. They've known that what's happening could happen before the season started and yet they did nothing to attempt to stop it.
