I am F'ing done with the defensive shift. The Astros have to rate as the absolute worst team in baseball trying to use the shift. Either they don't know the data or they don't pitch to the defense.

Framber's my defend to the death. If he gets a quality start, he did his job.

That said, it is amazing how the Mariners are seeking the opposite field hits with Framber's pitching. If only the Astros had that mentality.

As a weird solution to the Jose Abreu issue, does it make sense to look for Alcantara from the fish? Abreu lives in Miami so it allows him to be home and his contract ends before Alcantara so saves them some money. Obviously they aren't doing that straight up so you'd have to give a prospect or two back but seems like a way to make the money work.
