Honest question from a baseball casual. Why do the Astros hang on the LMJ? He hasn't contributed much .in recent years. I know he has injury and surgery, but that seems like 2 years ago. He still seems to always be injured. When not injured, the guy is hot or cold. When does a GM decide it's time to find someone productive?

This entire team is beating balls into the ground a ton. Elevated fastball ends up being a ground ball to second.

Just really weird how the entire tram seems to be beating the ball into the ground.

Usually that's a sign of hitters getting impatient or pull happy. Makes sense with a desperate team. Gotta find a way to relax and hit the ball where it's pitched. (Note, I have no idea how that would be possible right now)
