We are about to put up a crooked number. You can pretend that's what you meant when it happens._veeyah_ said:

I was hoping for an MVP type contract season but looks like we are going to get a league average performance.JohnLA762 said:
Why do we pay Bregman?

Jake sucks
He has been hosed tonight. He has every right to be mad.
That one was a strike. Even the Astros radio crew looking at statcast said it caught the bottom of the zone.
Im going to guess its more accurate than a camera side angle and your eyeballsHeineken-Ashi said:htxag09 said:JohnLA762 said:JPN06 said:

I'm not sure how the strike zone is set up for statcast, but the side angle showed the ball below his knees the whole time. It was a clear ball.

I think statcast is often wrong on borderline pitches based on what I see. I was just busting your balls.Heineken-Ashi said:JPN06 said:Im going to guess its more accurate than a camera side angle and your eyeballsHeineken-Ashi said:htxag09 said:JohnLA762 said:JPN06 said:

Sounds logical. But how can you be sure statcast adjust for the players frame and stance? The camera angle was staring at Jake and the ball was clearly below his knees. Perhaps the camera angle was off. But for him to get pissed like that, something he never does, it tells me my eyes are just fine.
