We can't clinch a tie today. If we win and they lose they are 6 back with 6 to play. Given that means they have to sweep us to tie they would have the tie breaker.

That was kind of my point. I wasn't implying anything about the tiebreaker...just that the best we can do today is clinch an equivalent record which means nothing since they would have the tiebreaker.
Don't count on the Rangerettes to do anything but screw it up.

Skubal is scheduled to start Tuesday which means he would be available to start Sunday if it is a must win situation for Detroit. What an interesting decision that would be for AJ, because if you pitched him Sunday, he would only be available for a not guaranteed game 3...on short rest.
