1) Jake Meyers stayed at the stadium all night and learned how to bunt overnight.

2) Dusty and Joe have been lying to us for 3+ years that nobody on the team other than Altuve knows how to bunt.

Astros are 17th in OBP with runners in scoring position. Part of the reason is they lead the league in GIDP in the same situation.

One indictment after another against Cintron. He MUST be gone in November.

That totally hindsight though. it was a great call IMO to have a guy who is struggling bunt and maybe bunt for a hit. Next 2 guys just didn't do their job

A response to this is that they might be GIDP, but they're putting the ball in play.

Not saying it wasn't the right call. Just interesting the back and forth about bunting working or, at least, mocking people who say it doesn't when, in this situation, it didn't.....
