For sure. I just don't think we will catch Cleveland unless we sweep them to close out the year
I actually feel much better about this team than last year at this point. Get KT back and we have a solid 1-4 (5 if Breggie performs). With starting pitching and bullpen as they are, it's hard not to be excited heading into playoffs.

There is no reseeding after each round, meaning a wildcard team will only have home field in the playoffs if they play a lower seeded wildcard. Correct. So as it stands right now, we would be the 3 seed playing against the 6 seed. Then we were matched up against the two seed in the ALDS.
Division winners get home-field over wild card teams throughout playoffs regardless of record. So let's say we make the World Series at 88-74 and we play San Diego who went 93-69. We'd get homefield because we won our division, even though they had the higher record.
