Yes and no. He seems to have the right mindset as a fiery competitor and a baseball nerd to build up a high floor where I think he can stick in the rotation for a long time. There was a FanGraphs article a few weeks back about how he was all about shapes and being nasty in the spring but has since adjusted to attacking hitter's weaknesses even if it means sacrificing the nerdy pitch metrics. I don't think he will ever be a top-end arm. And I think he still needs to make some adjustments/improvements (his fastballs need work). I trust he and the pitching lab will.
I think his mindset is the main thing I like about him. I agree he's not going to be a top-end arm. Also agree he's going to make adjustments & improvements.

I think his mindset is necessary for a rotation as long as he keeps the team in games.
