Ump squeezed Ronel on what should've been a 1-2 count (2-1 at worst) and forces him to come into the zone for a 1"2-run HR. The umps are absolutely terrible this season for the Astros.

Interesting. Was he referring to the first round or entire draft? I see a number of Cortez types (big power, low command) or guys with one great pitcher but others that are questionable. Going to take good scouting to determine who can be developed and who can't. Definitely not a lot of fast movers on the pitching side.

So, I do start to wonder…what could Peña fetch in trade value? Feels like Dubon would be a better every day option at SS and his "potential" could cause some team to overvalue him.

Feels like he is just a dead spot in the lineup more often than not…outside of the ALCS/WS in '22, has there been a point where you felt really comfortable with him out there?

(I'm talking about getting a frontline a
Starter or outfielder in exchange for him…not prospects)

Working with a short response time, I failed to mention that it was a legitimate question about his value and I'm glad to hear the other side of it. In other words, that directly answers the question in that his defense plays enough of a statistical role that it'd short sighted to move him.
