This is up there with a time I traded a classmate (in like '91) a Wally Joyner rookie card for like 14 Astros cards.
I once traded my brand-new Optimus Prime for my best friend's worn-out Soundwave and Ravage. My mom vetoed the deal.
I traded a John Elway rookie for a Mike Scott rookie. Scott was my favorite Astro and Elway had just led a big comeback against the Oilers in the playoffs. I'm still pissed about that comeback. I'd make the same deal 10 out of 10 times. I regret nothing. F' Elway.

A few thoughts
- We finally fixed our catcher problem (25th in '23), but still have a hole at 1B (25th in '23).
- The DH graph is interesting (funny?) - See below. Two runaways from the pack.
- I think they're sleeping on Pena a little. His defense alone carried his WAR the first two seasons at 3.4 & 2.8. 2.6 means a small step back.
- a 4.9 WAR for TED means his 4th straight year falling just short of 5 fWAR (4.7, 4.8, 4.9, 4.9).
- How does Colorado have a negative WAR for DH? Embarrassing.
- How friends up 45 rank 26th in RP. Their achilles heel returns. How did they not address this in the offseason?
- ATL is pretty much stacked everywhere by LF & SS.

SEA was a .500 team (literally .500 on the nose) until July 25 when they went on a 27-7 run. That coincided when their schedule got stupidly easy and J-Rod when on his world class heater. Baseball Reference has a lot of nerve to predict such a low win total for Arlington. Has there ever been a team more primed to repeat as champions?
