Chas wins MVP and gold glove....OK just kidding but had to pump up my guy. My prediction is 100-62 and Bregman completely goes off and wins MVP. Sadly his value is never higher and we have to pay through the nose but Crane does it.

Interesting...Wonder what kind of prospects we'd need for a Goldy trade.
I thought we should've done that move a while back.

Honestly I'd take that in a heartbeat. Especially the making the WS + extending Tucker.
With the talent they've built, they just need a businessman as an owner that listens to the front office to have a great run the last half of the 2020s.cc10106 said:
For a team that basically copied the Astros' rebuild, it will be interesting to see what the Orioles can do with all that talent. Do they have an owner as passionate and that wants to win like Jim Crane?

Braves better hope for a different opponent if they bounce back and make the World Series again. The 2021 matchup was close to flipping even with the shortage of starters for the Astros.EastCoastAgNc said:tjack16 said:EastCoastAgNc said:

I'd like to beat the braves, but other than that, I'm on board
I certainly think the same way. That said, I think we also underestimate how insane it is that Houston has done what they've done for so long. I can acknowledge it is hard to appreciate in the moment. A ton would have to go right for Baltimore to even approach what the Astros have done, but it is saying something that they even have a chance to go on a run that can even compare.tjack16 said:
Starting in 2025 I think the AL runs through Baltimore much like it has in Houston the last 8 seasons

I guess I'm in the minority of wanting Shohei to be innocent. I know he's a dodger but still a generational talent that we might not see again at that level

Pete Rose? Roger Clemens? Barry Bonds? Arod?
All the best in the game. Guilty of various forms of cheating. Shohei would not be alone.
And sports is littered with exceptionally talented players who have a lot of money and who gamble.

That's my issue though is there is zero evidence even if he did gamble that it was on baseball. If he bet on baseball, then yeah ban. But from what I've read there is no evidence towards that
Could be interesting if he's willing to spend on top of having the top farm with an already highly talented big league roster.EastCoastAgNc said:Come Opening Day, David Rubenstein is expected to officially be the owner of the Baltimore Orioles.
