Chas wins MVP and gold glove....OK just kidding but had to pump up my guy. My prediction is 100-62 and Bregman completely goes off and wins MVP. Sadly his value is never higher and we have to pay through the nose but Crane does it.

It's very obvious how good he will be but I guess I'll post it… Javier will go 32-0, 0.01 ERA (one lucky home-run that'll get out due to a fan reaching over but Angel Hernandez won't see it) and win unanimous Cy Young

For a team that basically copied the Astros' rebuild, it will be interesting to see what the Orioles can do with all that talent. Do they have an owner as passionate and that wants to win like Jim Crane?

- Sign 2-3 upcoming guys in the offseason for half the price and the beat goes on

Starting in 2025 I think the AL runs through Baltimore much like it has in Houston the last 8 seasons

I certainly think the same way. That said, I think we also underestimate how insane it is that Houston has done what they've done for so long. I can acknowledge it is hard to appreciate in the moment. A ton would have to go right for Baltimore to even approach what the Astros have done, but it is saying something that they even have a chance to go on a run that can even compare.tjack16 said:

- Beat Texas in the ALDS, and Baltimore in the ALCS
- McCullers and Garcia both make a huge difference in October but mostly out of the pen
- trade for a rental bat at the deadline, especially if Abreu just doesn't have it

There is zero doubt he is a generational talent, and you cannot take away what he does on the ballfield, but if it comes out he was throwing games due to gambling, its pretty tough to wish him well.
I just want him to be treated fairly and not be protected and babied. Keep that same energy y'all(baseball fans and media in general) do for Bonds & Clemens and the Astros.
Just get it over with and take another high draft pick from the Astros for the worst cheating in the history of sports ever. It's the Dodgers; they nor their players ever break rules.

That's my issue though is there is zero evidence even if he did gamble that it was on baseball. If he bet on baseball, then yeah ban. But from what I've read there is no evidence towards that

So suspend him. And investigate it. Do the due diligence. Because right now all you are getting is Shohei playing stupid and everyone wants to look the other way because he's Shohei.
Our team and players have been vilified for 3 years, many for doing nothing. Altuve has been tarred and feathered for doing nothing. Why is Shohei getting a pass?
