Thinking about this more and I gotta give Crane credit. He seems to be a little loose with his money and prospects when it comes to guys he wants (see JV, Abreu, Montero, Hader). None were smart values. But Crane stood firm and didn't play Boras's game.

For my own sanity and because of my daily internal rage towards Dusty Baker last season, give me Joe Espada so I can have MY manager's back at least for one season, even after our first 3-game losing streak when the first Fire Espada messages start inevitably going out.

I had kind of a fun thought for the regulars on this thread. I remember in about 2019-2020 farmer would always have Tucker's back when people posted against him… to the point where we all said don't make farmer mad talking about TED.

I mainly wanted to pick him because I called him to come back with a vengeance last year so I'd really like to be right just slow delay on the prediction.

I don't think it's going to be as big of a deal as you're making it out to be. I think it's going to maybe equate to a few extra posts per day, but in the grand scheme of things, it's not gonna derail anything.
