1990 - Houston trades two minor league players to the Yankees for shortstop Orlando Miller. The infielder would come up to the majors in 1994 and would find himself as part of the nine-player deal with the Tigers after the 1996 season.


There are long stretches of time where I forget that Orlando Miller and Ricky Gutierrez were two different people. Kudos to Orlando for his phenomenal 1996 season where he had 116 strikeouts and 14 walks.

Exactly. Its just a simple flexor tendon strain and needs to heal. They shut him done and suddenly he has a big tear in his ucl.
