Well I'm on the 10 day IL and can't start the season.
I have my first ever kidney stone. This is the worst pain imaginable.
I will be as well. Severely herniated discs causing pressure on my nerves and they can't fit me in for a fusion until first Friday of April. I can empathize
Hunter Brown and Framber Valdez threw three innings in a simulated game on the rainy back fields. J.P. France threw one inning, marking the first time he's faced hitters this spring.
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza and Astros manager Joe Espada are surveying the playing surface after the tarp has been removed. It's still raining steady in West Palm Beach.
I can't wait to play the whitesox and see Maldy get a months worth of hits in 1 game against us.
Watch Maldy be the first C to hit for the cycle in like 20 years
I can't imagine the little league hijinx that would have to ensue for him to get a triple...kinda like when Mancini got that inside the park homer with the Orioles because a fly ball nailed the outfielder right in the face

Here's the Mancini clip for those who don't remember it:
I can see either scenario happening. If Framber and Javier bounce back we will be fine. I have a lot of faith in Javier but I do worry about Framber and his between the ears issues.
If I had to pick one I'd say we bounce back but not all the way back to 2022 form
Much of Framber's issues were a nagging injury and fatigue. I'm not saying the mental stuff isn't a part of it because maybe it is.. but it's very overblown from everything I've been told. I'm sure those two things can exacerbate the whole mental thing though.

The highlight of the Astros' 1992 season - Butch Henry's first ML hit, a 3-run inside the park home run off Doug Drabek when Bonds dove for the ball and missed it in left field. Only player in MLB history with an inside-the-park homer as his first hit.
The real MVP of that play is not actually seen in the video. Pirates' CF ANdy Van Slyke, who hated Bonds and was hated in return by Bonds, gave absolutely zero effort to run over and get the ball after Bonds fell down.
Whats the better option, fubo or dtv stream? I have used fubo always but wondering if the other is better It looks to be more expensive
I just signed up for DTV stream a couple weeks ago. It is like $4 more a month but it does have TBS/TNT if that is important to you. I like the fubo set up better though FWIW.
Will Clark made a $20 investment with Angel Hernandez, and it paid dividends for the rest of his career.pic.twitter.com/2ypdLaBOYX

Man, between guys like Will Clark, Mark Grace, and Sean Casey there must be something about lefty first basemen who hit for high average but marginal power because those guys are some of the funniest guys ever in baseball. Maybe it's all the time they spend jaw-jacking with opposing baserunners on first.
