Well then Mauricio Dubón got hung up between second and third on a steal attempt, made the third out at third base and left Jose Altuve at the plate. It's spring training.

Pressly is the Neris replacement.
But yeah I think it's just that we're stacked in the BP and there's not really a spot for him there. He's more valuable as spot starter.
Josh Hader will do this, too, but that's how he's always done it since PitchCom was introduced. Valdez met with pitching coach Josh Miller when he arrived at camp to ask if he could experiment with it in Grapefruit League play. More on the reasons why - https://t.co/59fjhdXz9j

Aaron Bummer goes 1-2-3 including this strikeout. Huge addition to this bullpen to add another high leverage LHP pic.twitter.com/nsjyz8CnVr

That will earn you a 12 month ban back here
Buddy and I went to a game at the Ballpark when it was brand new back in the 1990s to see Ags and TCU play a game. It was in 1995 I think when Reid Ryan or maybe Reese was playing for TCU and Nolan jumped on board as their pitching coach. We were working for the Batt and had to go to TCU's stadium on a Friday afternoon to get our press passes for the next day. As we were walking up, here came Nolan walking the other way. Me and my buddy were both 20-21, and were diehard Astro fans and here comes the legend walking at us. I stopped walking completely and my buddy walked right into my back like we were the (2) Stooges.Wabs said:

I'll go ahead and admit that my brain believes that Grae Kessinger and Jeff Keppinger are the same person and that is unlikely to change at any point going forward. I've definitely entered the part of life where I see a guy's last name in a box score and mistake him for a guy with a similar or same name who stopped playing 2-15 years ago.linkdude said:

Fewer commercials? Quicker replays?
MLB players see better ways to shorten games than tightening the pitch clock https://t.co/Mxxzy3gU1h

Houston wanted him badly for a couple years
Framber Valdez makes his spring debut today against the Nationals. Also on the list to pitch: Hunter Brown, Ryan Pressly, Joel Kuhnel, among others.

Justin Verlander will throw another bullpen session on Sunday. The team will determine what is next after that.
