Buddy and I went to a game at the Ballpark when it was brand new back in the 1990s to see Ags and TCU play a game. It was in 1995 I think when Reid Ryan or maybe Reese was playing for TCU and Nolan jumped on board as their pitching coach. We were working for the Batt and had to go to TCU's stadium on a Friday afternoon to get our press passes for the next day. As we were walking up, here came Nolan walking the other way. Me and my buddy were both 20-21, and were diehard Astro fans and here comes the legend walking at us. The next day, the game time coincided with the Rockets vs. the Suns in the WCSF. Suns had won the first 2 games at home. We assumed they'd show the game in the press box, but nobody else seemed interested (in Arlington ,go figure!) so eventually I got up the balls to turn on the press box TV myself to watch it.
Neither of us had been to that stadium before but we lied to the security guard and said we had so we could wander around behind the scenes. That led to a great moment in the elevator where we couldn't figure out where the press box was and had the back of the elevator open up in the stadium kitchen, kind of like when Han and Luke are looking for the detention level on the Death Star in Star Wars.
Rockets won in a blowout, Ags won 20-15 over the Frogs.

I'll go ahead and admit that my brain believes that Grae Kessinger and Jeff Keppinger are the same person and that is unlikely to change at any point going forward.
