On a lighter note, I'm writing a short fantasy novella for a guy in Kuwait today and I'm using some obscure Astro names (first or last) to populate some of the minor characters. If anyone has a suggestion, please throw one out.
Roger Metzger, but you'll need to work into the plot that he only has 4 fingers on one hand

Meh, I don't have a problem with them cracking down on obstruction. Fielders can't prevent the runner from getting to the base if they don't have the ball.
Rob Manfred is done as commissioner in January 2029.

"You can only have so much fun in one lifetime. I have been open with them (the owners) about the fact that this is going to be my last term."
Living in north Texas I REALLY hope they all had career years. My neighbors, who are all great in every other aspect of life (as far as I know) were just so f***ing obnoxious about it that I got flashbacks to college in the early 90's with cowboy fans and why I still root against them to this day.MosesHallRAB04 said:Farmer1906 said:
What pitching prospects do you think can fill in for DeGrom & Scherzer?
That will be without Garver who had a massive year. But they should have bats to replace him.
Maybe I'm wrong but it sure seemed like every offensive player had career years for them. Hopefully there's some regression to the mean there. They'll still be good offensively but hopefully there's a drop off.
And to be clear I'm not accusing them of anything. Just that it seemed like lightening striking across the entire offensive lineup.

Are we talking about the Frelick who's only played 1/3 of a season? Yeah that's a bit too early to be talking trading away MLB talent for him
That October 2020 run was amazing. Hat tip, all the best https://t.co/KzuiyagSex
