Matthews will very unlikely play third if he makes the big leagues. He's a CF if SS doesn't work out.

It's just so early in his development. He's only 18 and playing in Rookie ball. I don't think anyone has cooled on him.

I sure hope so. I don't think hard work has ever been an issue with Breggy. A few years back he put in time at the weight room and bulked up. It didn't work so the next year focused on health and training for movement / soft issue injury prevention. Even during the lockout he held his own Spring Training at Reckling.
