Dubon could handle it for 2024 I think. He'd be one of the better 9 hole hitters in baseball.

I say I'd be willing to part with Pena but as I said in an earlier post only for a guy like Robert. I still see Pena as a valuable piece moving forward but not "untouchable" if the right deal comes along.

I'd ship out HB before I did Diaz.

It's easier (not easy but easier) to find an ace than it is a catcher with the skill set of Diaz.

Agreed power and average hitting catchers who can throw seeds are few and far between. They are way more rare than aces.

Tim Anderson? Interesting as a potential reclamation project.

Problem is I don't see the personalities who would put him in his place in the clubhouse if that was an issue.

You'd have to sign him to a 1 year smallish prove it deal and cut him at the first sign of dumbassery.
