Neither are particularly inspiring. Maybe they can be backend guys similar to France. Not much to get excited about in the upper minors. Really the lower minors either but you can at least hope a few guys develop into something down there. Brown has his work cut out for him with this system.

We'll see if the wheels fall off here. The short rest plan seems to backfire pretty often.

I like Dombroski best but he's a year or two behind the others. In the past we've really turned guys who were nobodies into some serious big league arms. I wouldn't count us out from doing that some more.

Our offensive prospects have more obvious upside tho. There's a good half dozen or so guys I'm excited about.

One of my favorite aspects of a game 7 is seeing starters come out of the bullpen on short rest. I wish JV could have given us an inning last night. Wouldn't have been worse than JP France.

I'd heavily prefer the D-backs of the three teams left but would take either over the Rangers, so ultimately it's about whoever is more likely to win the WS. I think the Phillies would take it in five or six.
