wouldn't hurt to let Jankowski get in for him to get a swing or two. Or bunt. Something to put some pressure on the defense.

Can't put Hedges or Smith in there. Who else is left?

Jankowski would have been the only option, but he hasn't played since Carter was called up. The insistence on having a pinch runner, a 3rd catcher, and a defense-first IF means we have no options.

Grossman 9th today from the left side is a free out.

I'm going to make a prediction.

Next inning, B6, we're going to light Verlander up. He has been settled in on the 4Seam. Normally, you're looking at 93-94. He's been getting 96.

I think the Velo comes down a bit... the ball comes in lower and many of those popups become line drives!
