Largest crowd this year was 40,738 against the Dodgers back on July 22nd - I can't imagine that wouldn't be the all-time GiLF record.

I went to the Eovaldi CG SO against the Yankees back in late April and remember them saying that that was the largest crowd ever (at the time) at just over 40,000...looks like they had a few games after that against the Stros and Dodgers that surpassed it.

I know some folks get mad when I criticize the old park, but it really wasn't a home field advantage in the playoffs. We got our butts kicked there more often than not.

That's another reason I was glad we got the new stadium besides the most obvious reason which was it's too hot outside to play most of the time.

What happened to all of the twins fans chanting that they wanted Houston?

Well they got Houston to come up to Minneapolis and put up 3 hits / 1 run. Pretty terrible effort.

It's a bummer tho. Pretty much nobody outside Houston wants to see the Astros in the ALCS. They will have made 7 in a row if they beat the twins again. That's insane.
