It comes down to choices. They made the decision before G1. I'm sure they didn't expect to lose G1.

If we win the G, G3 would be so much more pressure on the road, IMO.

Thought the same thing, you've gotta be out of your mind. I'm glad we're winning but to ignore the rest is insane, not every year does every WC end in 2 games

Seems like this ump and his tight zone is a bad match for Monty. Unfortunately it feels like we're probably going to see Perez for a long relief outing with pitch counts elevated

Smoltz (the announcer) called that early on in the game. But the ump has been consistent, it's up to the players to adjust. And honestly, this ump's "tight" zone seems more right than the umps that call the pitch 6 inches off the plate a strike.

This is nothing compared to Costas in last night's Ari/LA game. The whole damn game from the moment the D-Backs had the big first inning to the last out in the B9.
