Duran has been frustrating at times to watch, but he earned that RBI.

I know some of you haven't been around for a long time, but that is what us old-timers call a winning streak.
Glad we got an insurance run in top of 9th. Leclerc may end up being our best closer. Chapman gives up too many HRs.
Chapman doesn't need to be the closer. His numbers are will smith-esque in that role. He's dominant as a setup man. Have a feeling Bochy is going to keep sending him out there though until we get burned so many times.

I agree that he gives up too many HRs. But I think that was pure luck. The 101 mph sinker low and away and got a barrel to it. 99% batters in the league don't make that kind of contact on a pitch like that, or make contact at all
Edit: I guess the pitch was middle away, but my point remains

Leclerc is the way. His game log is the most impressive out of all of the relievers this year.

If everyone is struggling you throw the guy with the best stuff and that's Chapman

I wouldn't name a closer personally. I'd play the lineup matchup and/ or go with the hot hand at the time. This team doesn't have a closer. There's a few with the stuff to do it but they have control issues. I was really hoping Sborz could fill that role but it's tuff to trust him right now.

He doesn't need to throw 105 to be what we need him to be. I wish he'd just dial it back a notch and throw 99mph strikes
