Really curious what Scherzer was talking to the ump about

With Scherzer it may have been something from the 1st inning.

Cool. I guess they sold out for a post-season game. When I was there, they were leading the division, and if there were 5000 people there, they must've been in the restrooms or something.

Say what you will about this terrible stadium, at least the seats behind home are legit seats with fans in them facing towards the action for the most part.

I'd be good however it went. Looks like the decision was made.

Scherzer didn't come here to rack up scoreless innings against terrible teams. He wasn't going to get a CG, lost the SHO, and we had a nice margin. Bullpen was rested.

Great outing.

Close it out.

Could be a YouTube channel devoted to foul ball fan chases in Oakland.

A bit about today's Baltimore-Houston game.

There were some really great moments of baseball.

I love baseball. I don't like trash talking and I don't like betting. It adds too much stress. It takes from my enjoyment. I'll throw shade towards Astros fans, but overall their team is fun to watch. Their fans make it hard to enjoy watching their team. Most teams are fun to watch.

Rangers winning is the most Baseball fun of all.

Relax chief. I'm not trying to argue. Just contributing to the conversation of the fan environment in Oakland.

Sorry bro, not trying to argue either. Just sharing what I experienced.

Crank the Pat! Good solid win that was never in doubt. Let's go get the sweep tomorrow and move the win streak to 9

They're like those Yankees teams from 10-20 years ago. Not only did they never say die, they also had the Tiger Woods effect of making their opponents lose their S when it mattered most. Altuve gets sawed off and bloops a hit. The CF just can't quite make the play on Alvarez. Then for some reason, Bautista won't try getting Tucker to chase on a change-up, but just kept pouring fastballs in on 2-2. So, Tucker was a hero, and Bautista lost his S, and the Astros had some good luck... but none of it happens if the 9th inning doesn't start with a walk to the 9 hole hitter.

... or maybe that's my BAS still lingering over John Hessler. Hard to tell sometimes...

Rangers have the largest run differential in the majors now at +177.

It's been that way the majority of the season. We've actually underperformed our win total by a good bit (several 1 run losses).

Yep. We should have Baltimore's record at the very least. That type of stuff usually evens out by the end.

Pretty meh performance by Scherzer, only lasted 7 innings and gave up a homer to a career .186 hitter. That's just not going to cut it versus good teams. That trade isn't looking so great right now.

Boone's interviews with Jomboy and Jake from Talkin Baseball/Talkin Yanks are hilarious. Boone has to be the worst public speaker in the MLB.

It's really time for the Yankees to move on from Boone. They ooze negative vibes, and it starts with him. I think he would be relieved if he got fired. He looks miserable every day.

So, the Yankees should stick with Boone for a while. The Yankees at the bottom makes baseball so much more enjoyable
