Positive injury updates

Somewhat positive. It basically shifts the Heim timeline from IL and back in a few weeks to "cautiously optimistic he's not done for the season".

I guess I thought Foscue was on the 40.

We have another delemna...

Austin Hedges isn't currently on the 26.

Huff will be on until Heim's return, possibly.
Bubba Thompson gets replaced with Seager.

Maybe Hedges bumps Huff... and then when Heim returns... maybe it is September.

I would add that, re: Sept call-ups, the Rangers need to only consider players who they think can realistically contribute to a post-season run. A pennant chase is not the time to audition players.

Lol Brad Miller was placed on the IL with a hamstring. The IL in baseball is the fakest thing in sports. You can use it for literally anything.

Why did my posts get deleted? Am I not allowed to have a baseball discussion because I root for another team? I was as friendly as can be and not trolling at all. I broke no rules.

I'm a baseball fan who likes to talk baseball. Is that not allowed? I'm genuinely asking what I did wrong. The only rule I'm aware of is no trolling.

I've flagged some.

It is sad when Rangers fan mock Astros fans about how obsessed they are about the Rangers... and then bring back the tripe posted on the Astros' thread to mock them. It shows you are just as obsessed.

There is a fine line between discussing baseball and having discussions that should be either on the Astros' thread or the rivalry thread.

The reality is when you come over here and troll once... twice... I'm flagging all your posts.

I won't post here anymore. My bad. Really wasn't trolling and was just having a discussion on the JV trade which is a pretty hot topic. Just let me know next time that it's not wanted here instead of flagging so there's no risk of a ban.

Some history of your fellow posters coming over to "just talk baseball" then eventually dropping a deuce in our punchbowl and running back to the other thread to brag about how obsessed we are or some similar crap. You probably got flagged the minute somebody checked your posting history.

FWIW - I didn't see anything wrong with your posts over here and enjoy reading your posts on the other thread. Makes for a nice contrast to the rest of the offerings.

I think a general MLB season discussion thread would be useful. Quite frankly, as a Ranger fan living in Katy, I want just about no additional exposure to the Astros (outside of Schadenfreude), even well meaning.
