I'll be very curious to see what other roster transactions are made over the next few weeks. Like has been said already, but it's time to see what a few guys from Round Rock can do.
Was the Howard move to open a 40 man spot? He looked decent in his relief appearances of late.

I would imagine adding Scherzer, Montgomery, Stratton, and Hedges required some moves

I think non-contributor might have gotten his point across more effectively. I don't think he's indicating his lack of offense isn't an issue.

By end of year??? Thought he was supposed to be back in like 2 weeks?
I think it's really smart to get Langford in A+. He's got the approach and ability. Let him get acquainted with pro ball and hopefully he's ready for AA beginning next year.
The latest report I saw said one month IIRC. Plus after deGrom I do not trust any optimistic Rangers-provided timeline for injuries so personally I've been hoping for an early September return, which feels reasonable.

He basically said the Scherzer press conference was very positive.
He said Scherzer basically went to the Mets FO and asked what the plan was. They told him 2024 was going to be a transition year and they were shooting for 2025. Scherzer asked about being involved in FA and they said nothing big, mostly just small stuff for 2024.
He left and decided he'd call up his buddy deGrom. Wanted to know about the Rangers and what he thought about them. Max said deGrom was very positive and said Texas was where it was. There was more to the conversation, but it sounded like Scherzer was pretty fired up about being here and the opportunity to win. I'm wondering if that was what pushed Scherzer into opting-in for 2024.

He did say that Bradford took getting sent down, well. Bochy figured he was expecting it. But, Bradford's response was something to the effect: "I'm kinda looking forward to the break. I need to work on my cutter (?) inside on RH hitters."
He was likely given a heads up by Maddux or someone else that it was coming and had already given him a plan for return. So, the conversation with Bochy was likely more like a send off.
Bochy said they were going to continue to stretch him out.
