Fair enough and I'll edit. Thanks for keeping me in check
Rightfully so. But you needn't bother. The mood over there is exceptionally positive and everything appears to be going well.Quote:
Ah, got it. I don't really venture over to that one so did not realize where that was coming from.
Maldy and dusty are like saints in that thread. Insult them and everyone gets angry at you.agent-maroon said:Rightfully so. But you needn't bother. The mood over there is exceptionally positive and everything appears to be going well.Quote:

If the Texas Rangers trade for Emmanuel Clase (rumored to be interested) this trade deadline will be one of the best in MLB history pic.twitter.com/RIWofsgQcB

So the Texas #Rangers improve more than anyone for the pennant race by getting two prized starters in Max Scherzer and Jordan Montgomery, along with reliever Chris Stratton. for their No. 3, No. 11, No. 14 and a fringe prospect.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Great way to sum up the trade deadline for us so far. As we all know, number 4 and 11 were blocked by semien / Seager and Roby still requires a lot of seasoning.
Seems like Seager could be back any day now and I saw someone mention earlier in the thread that Bochy said Eovaldi should be back for his next scheduled start or something like that.Proposition Joe said:Grapesoda2525 said:So the Texas #Rangers improve more than anyone for the pennant race by getting two prized starters in Max Scherzer and Jordan Montgomery, along with reliever Chris Stratton. for their No. 3, No. 11, No. 14 and a fringe prospect.

I agree we've improved more than anyone via trade.
The issue is we've also declined as much of anyone in the last 2 weeks due to injury. We have 3 all-stars on the shelf right now, with very big questions on whether we'll see 2 of them at all the rest of the year.

The only one I'm worried about long term is Heim. Eovaldi also had an MRI that was clean. Degroms most recent mri wasn't clean. Big difference there.
Their Offense is awful.Tksymm7 said:
Why would Cleveland trade Clase, honestly?

Is there a high average low strike out RH bat out there that can DH???? Seems to be the only piece I still want…. Ranger 2 RH middle of the order bats might combine for 400 k's this season.
So nice to have him and Carter waiting in the wings.gigem1223 said:
Langford went 3-4 with 2 doubles, a BB, and a game tying homer in the 9th tonight
not to rush him, but he really might be able to be fast tracked to the big leagues by the end of next year. His ability at the plate alone should give him that chance.gigem1223 said:

I know I said it a few days ago, but I'm ready to see Foscue get a shot at DH by September. Definitely him over Huff.gigem1223 said:
