Maddux isn't the one throwing the pitches. Only so much he can do. Now, what I want to know is why we're throwing so many damn breaking pitches recently when guys are clearly struggling.

This is my biggest beef. We do not throw enough fastballs. That is the biggest reason for the increase in walks imo.

Exactly, but i should have said 6-9 who are you going to put in his spot. Move Garver up one, then you still Duran doing what he does, or you could have Josh Smith in DH. Not much consistent production from them.
I would have Garver at 6., Grossman 7. Garver has been one of our hotter bats this month.
