I'm sure we'll miss Heim because he's that good, but Garver as a backup is fine. There's a lot worse options out there that's for sure.

Agree. But he's not used to a heavy workload and has struggled to stay healthy for an extended period of time. Going to need Huff to live up to his billing in Heim's absence.
Of all the positions we could take an injury, catcher is one of our deepest. Garver and Huff could do a good job.

Wildcard only off-sets your rotation by 1 day. It's not as significant advantage as it should be because they want to setup weekend series.

I'm not one to excuse the umps, but it looked like he did go. It was barely, but it crossed the corner of the plate.
