I had seen something similar on instagram…I'll try to find it.

Not as long or detailed as Jomboy, but entertaining.

Now SDP saying Juan Soto could be had.
Alright, how the hell do y'all fools post gifs.. I've never been able to figure it out..
Try to post one, and I'll see what you are doing wrong.
What I usually do, is if I see a file from say images.google.com
I right-mouse click an "open image in new tab." Then, if the URL starts with "data" you won't be able to post it. I will then, click on the image and try to "open image in a new tab" to see if it starts with "http://" then, look to see if the URL ends with something like .jpg" />.
From there, you can insert the URL in the Image icon when you post.
You could also reply to this and look at the URL of the following:
You can find that link by going to images.google.com and search for "I'm a moron gif"
That was the link I had copied, then put the img and /img in the brackets and it came up with the question mark thing
Scherzer would be cheaper and he's owned the Astros before. I want him instead. He seems perfect. He could bridge the gap until Degrom returns next year.Dwb22 said:

BREAKING: Mets trading David Robertson to the Marlins, sources tell @TheAthletic
— Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) July 28, 2023
Marco Vargas is the No. 18 prospect in the Marlins’ system
— Danny Abriano (@DannyAbriano) July 28, 2023
Ronald Hernandez is their No. 21 prospect
That is incredibly underwhelming, to the point of shocking
David Robertson was the best reliever on the market. Have to do better than that https://t.co/YX9BFQa24C

Scherzer would up his game if playing for a contender. We could possibly get him for cheap too.gigem1223 said:Grapesoda2525 said:Scherzer would be cheaper and he's owned the Astros before. I want him instead. He seems perfect. He could bridge the gap until Degrom returns next year.Dwb22 said:

Scherzer has been pretty bad this year, Verlander has been really good for over a month now. Plus he has more skins in the postseason and I'd love to see Astros fans crying about Kate in a rangers uni.
If anything else, it could lower the price for relievers across the board.DeangeloVickers said:BREAKING: Mets trading David Robertson to the Marlins, sources tell @TheAthletic

So we tried to get Verlander and Kershaw last offseason but were turned down by both. I still think we have a much better shot to get Kershaw next year. Who wouldn't want to pitch in a cool ballpark ( I mean temp wise) and be backed up by the best offense in the game. In addition, Kershaw could be around his family and kids more.Quote:
The frontrunner for Verlander, according to one source, would likely be the Rangers, who are said to be seeking rotation help and are taking an aggressive approach to the Trade Deadline. It should be noted that Texas pursued Verlander last winter, but the pitcher expressed no interest in joining the Rangers, who were coming off of their sixth consecutive losing season.
Another club said to be interested is the Astros, the team with which Verlander pitched from September 2017 through the end of the 2022 season. One executive pegged a surprise sleeper team in a potential Verlander sweepstakes: the Reds.
Could be waiting for the last day hoping the prices drop on some guys.Dwb22 said:

The Texas #Rangers are aggressively pursuing #STLCards closer Jordan Hicks.
— Bob Nightengale (@BNightengale) July 28, 2023
Hicks is a free agent at the end of the season and will be moved only if the Cardinals can’t sign him to a contract extension before Tuesday.

That was part of the conversation on the radio I referenced. Rangers seem to be looking at a SP+RP trade.hawk1689 said:
I'm ok with Hicks as a throw in with Flaherty. By himself, we shouldn't be giving up more than a couple lottery tickets.

He's shaken off a rocky start to the season and been one of the most dominant bullpen arms in the sport dating back to early May.

In his past 28 2/3 frames, the flamethrowing righty has pitched to a 1.88 ERA with a 31.4% strikeout rate, an 8.5% walk rate and a mammoth 66.7% ground-ball rate all while averaging a blistering 100.6 mph on his sinker. He's doing so while playing on a modest $1.8375MM salary agreed upon over the winter to avoid arbitration in his final season of eligibility.
