If the Angels breach the Luxury Tax, which they are on the bring to do, their QO compensation if Ohtani leaves after the season drops from between the CB-2 and 3rd Rd... to between the 3rd and 4th Rd.
They've lost Urshela (hip surgery), Trout (I believe hamate bone), and Rendon (found blood in his tibia? and shows a deep bone bruise and shutdown.). AFAIK, none of them are expected back anytime soon.

Oh my gosh. The Angels trade the #2 and #3 ranked prospects in their 29th ranked farm system for Giolito and Lopez. They'll still miss the playoffs, Shohei will walk, and their franchise will be set back a decade.

Lefty/ righty could care less. It's way better than what we have now.
Hader is not a situational pitcher. He mows down lefties and righties. You don't have a sub 1 era being a lefty specialist out of the pen.

I'd be willing to trade quite a bit of prospect capital for Hader. Bringing him in to face Yordan/ Tucker in a critical spot would be great to have.
