Watching the Astros game and they brought up a graphic of AL CY young leading candidates. Was missing a certain someone. Someone who has a better whip, era and more wins than all those starters they listed. (Framber, Cole, Gausman, Mcclanahan, and Bautista?) Has a reliever ever won a CY Young?

Agreed. Honestly hadn't looked at it till today. How is Eovaldi not the front runner in the AL? Leads the AL in ERA, WHIP, and Wins. Cole and McClanahan are close but Framber shouldn't even be in the conversation right now.

I would think/hope so. First off, it's that time of year where guys like him begin to get their chance in the big leagues. Hes 23 and pitched solid for most of the year; let's get him going. Second, with the way our starting pitching has been smacked around recently and with Gray and Eovaldi now being hampered, we could use a start. Then on top of that if he's solid he could get some more innings. I'll be pretty disappointed if he doesn't get a start tbh.

A's are so incompetent. Hit batters and walks to load bases and then walk a run in. This Astros lineup is so bad right now. We should sweep if they bring this back to Houston.

He's been pretty shaky lately. I believe it was him that loaded the bases with no outs the other day and miraculously got out of it. First two on for the As in the 8th.
