I think when we're continually trying to make excuses for Bochy "trying something out to see for the future" or "making sure guys are fresh for "big series X"... Well this is Big Series X. We should be rolling with our best chance to win.

He's only had 2 outings where his pitch count was below 88 all season long -- a bad 2.2IP/7ER outing and a bad 3.0IP/3ER outing.
You have a questionable bullpen and your starter is putting up 5IP/3H/8K/0ER and you pull him early?

This team has some MAJOR flaws. Obviously.
Sborz was off today. Offense has to find a way today. Frustrated
It was ruled a hit, but Jung could have made that play. Abreu is not fast. That was the beginning.
I feel bad for Heaney. He and Chapman have been the only positives today. What a damn let down.

True. But putting a runner on changed the whole dynamic and flow of that inning. But yes. He shouldn't be walking batters.
Watching the Rangers this year is like watching the Stars. Mostly dominant in wins but struggle when it's tight and can't finish comebacks late in the game.
Also can't give teams like the Astros 4 outs. Have to make the plays. Jung normally makes that play.

The problem is bullpen guys are typically bullpen guys because they don't have consistent stuff and have to be thrown in small sample sizes.

I don't think the Anderson-Chapman-Sborz-Smith idea is tinkering, I think that is what you've got by adding Chapman.
