Of course the Rangers are making their new pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate. If the opposing pitcher has an era above 7 or is getting their first MLB start against the Rangers, guarantee the Rangers will welcome them with no run support.

Gotta say Boch's lineup decisions today might be the first time I've seriously questioned him this season. I just don't know why we wouldn't go for the jugular against a first time starter when we supposedly entered this series completely rested.

I wonder if Bochy was trying to look at a shortened game.

Can they play the role?! If Anderson can have shutdown innings, the other 3 could make games a 6 IP game.
It could also be a way to find out if we were to pickup a RH RP what that would look like.

There's just no way around it, the offense isn't very good right now and has issues that need to be solved. It is no longer a slump.
