Our lack of aggressiveness on the base paths is really bothersome at times. Stealing has never been easier and we don't take advantage of it.

I can not wait till the deadline when we have more than 3 reliable bullpen options. It seems Boch stretches a lot of these guy out too long as well. You're doing great if you get 1 good inning out of a Barlow, King, Rodriguez etc. Playing with fire when you make them go 2.

This is a ****ty series to split. After losing a winnable series in New York, need to find a way to take 3 of 4 from the Astros. Split at worst.

What do you get when you have an early afternoon game after a night game, easy to win game against a team nearly as bad as Oakland at home?
We overlook them and play like some kind of triple AAA ball club.
We didn't take the Tigers seriously. The first game we were "tired" from the road trip and struck out 16 times. Today, we don't throw a major league quality pitcher at the tigers at all and they rough up our staff for 8 runs.
This series was a golden opportunity to stack some wins and gain in the standings, but we just pisses it away. The tigers are terrible. I would have gone for the kill in all 4 games. Don't show any sign of weakness right before your big rival comes to town. Now we are starting the series off with a losing streak and the Astros could be coming in hot. They scored 10 runs yesterday, what if they put up a bunch tonight?
I am a big fan of Bochy and it's a long season, but the time to rest people was after Houston left town, not before.
Punting games against bad teams is so freaking annoying.

I'd be totally ok with a split with the Astros. I already feel like this whole stretch before the all star break has been managed very poorly. As long as we don't make the situation worse, I can live with a split.
Overreact much? We lost one game, not on a losing streak. The Astros win one game against a bad team and they're suddenly hot?
We're in a great spot heading into the series tomorrow. Seager and Heim are well rested, the bats have warmed back up, the good bullpen arms are rested and we start the series off with Gray and Eovaldi on the mound.
