Meh, I hate calls like that. Clearly makes absolutely no difference - he wasn't picking anyone off, but on a technicality they call it and it decides the game. Kind of like the Jonah call the other night.

Meh it should've been 8-7 anyways if not for that wonky play with the ball getting stuck in the fence. Dodgers score 2 there if that doesn't happen.

Man, looking at the Angels lineup and staff, I think their record is a lot better than the roster they have. Really think they'll start losing some games and law of averages will even out. Outside of Trout, Ohtani, and Drury, they don't have any positive contributors on offense.

The record survives. Angels probably would've broken it, if not for that scrub Ohtani. Every starter with a multi-hit game, except Ohtani who goes 1-7 with a measly single.

For whatever reason, we seem to have left our bats in Chicago or Arlington. The Yankees have a ballpark that's easy to score runs in, but we've only put up 2 runs in 18 innings if you exclude the extra innings / zombie runner crap. Just a terrible effort on offense all around.

The Nate lowe at bat in the 8th inning really hurt. Sick of the umpires screwing us in these close / late game situations.

Seriously. His foot flinched, then he stepped off. Balk all day everyday.

So if an opposing pitcher flinched, then stepped off, then threw out an Astros runner who reacted to to the flinch, I'm sure they wouldn't have a problem with not calling a balk, right? Right?

I've seen that called in JV games. It sucks for sure, but it's an easy call.
