I think all of us are extremely happy with the success so far. Hopefully we are this hot at the end of the season when it matters. This team is to talented to not make some noise later in the season.

Watched the YouTube highlight clip of Astros and angels.

The Astros have this mystifying tiger woods like effect where their opponents seem to just forget how to play baseball and trip on their own dicks. The angels messed around and looked like a little league team in one particular inning where they committed errors and mental mistakes that you'd typically see at your local little league ball park. Bregman crushed a grand slam and made them pay.

I love what this team is doing, but it's ridiculous that we might actually sweep Seattle and somehow lose ground in the standings. I wish someone in our division could beat them besides us.

If I was a Padres fan I would still have no regrets….. I always want to feel that ownership and FO are doing everything they can every single yr to win….90-100 loss seasons are complete BS.

Andy Fletcher and his rhomboid strike zone at work today. Robo umpires were created specifically because of tools like this.

This is his last start. That 73% strike accuracy is one of the worst performances all year.

Padres have made the playoffs 2 of the last 3 seasons and are 4 games under 0.500. Last season they made the NLCS for the first time in over 20 years.

They certainly aren't getting full bang for their buck, but it's far from a disaster in San Diego.

Adolis pulled up lame chasing a fly ball. Looks like some sort of discomfort behind his right knee, maybe hammy. Stayed in game tho. Maybe just a weird twinge that's okay
