As bad as the BP is, this team is exciting to watch. All we need is a few runs and a SP that can go 9 innings every night.

Looks like old friend Rafael Montero helped their bullpen implosion along tonight. They are were already down though, so probably wouldn't have mattered. At least we aren't the only ones with bullpen implosions

What made the 2011 rotation great was that they remained healthy.

IIRC, that year those 5 GS were late in the season and used to give the SP a day of rest before the playoffs.

I would also contend that if the 2023 team had a better Bullpen, their ERA would be lower. Too many inherited runners have scored.

I think Duran is pressing too hard. He seems to be struggling. Could be Seager's return has him frustrated and trying too hard.

They had said previously that Duran was going to play SS today, so leaving the game last night plus being out of the lineup today likely means he got dinged up, stomach bug, or something along those lines.
