I wonder if DeGrom as a bullpen guy would be considered. Can't stay healthy and we may get more out of him pitching a few innings a week closing games out and staying healthy.

No. 10 years of having a bullpen below the league average. Apparently there's nothing we can do and it's just a luck thing. Pretty bad luck considering we can't even have an average pen not once in a decade.

Degrom isn't going to the pen with his salary. Just not feasible. I see where you're coming from but $35MM bullpen arms aren't a thing.

I knew this game was ****ed when they over turned the call at home. We really really needed it. Getting us off the field tied vs giving up the run and now a grand slam.

Damn this game is a piece of poop tonight. Left the bats in Texas.

I actually view teams on a slump as more of a challenge. If they are decent they will bounce back at some point. Braves we're on a 4 game losing streak and won the series against us. A's with the most horrendous pitching staff and outside of 1 inning it was a dog fight that series. Teams on a slump with bad pitching seems to be a factor this team doesn't capitalize on. Weird deal but just what it is.
