Hernandez is trying his best to not be on this team. His last few outings have been horrendous.

I wonder if he'd consider ditching the sinker. I know it's got serious run, but wow can he not control it in any way.

Meh. No Earned runs and a lot of weak contact. Thought he did fine. Hernandez needs to be sent down though. He's lost.

Unfortunately I think he's also out of options.

1/2 day off for the starters and another Ranger's series win

I'm glad King got hit around a little bit because it trashed Hernandez's era. Hernandez definitely deserves a crappy era by the way he's been pitching.

Is Garver really that good? Seems like he just gets hurt and strikes out a lot.

He's good when he's healthy. We'll see if he can stay healthy. Point of the post is the depth of the roster.

Just watched the highlights and looked like a great crowd. Good to see the seats filling up again.

Leading the league in runs/ game should do that. This team is fun to watch. Just wait till deGrom comes back. If he can stay healthy the fun meter will turn up a smidge.

Astro fans are so stupid. In the other thread, one of them said the rangers will "fizzle out" when the summer gets going. He probably thinks we still play in that crap hole sweat box of a ballpark we used to play in. No more wilting in the summer heat for this team.

I know you don't care, but I'm putting you on ignore. I don't want to hear about the Astros every effing day. Give it a rest.

Who cares….I've said it before but please quit posting about that other thread over here.

79 and sunny today and the roof was closed. Ridiculous.

Maybe the sun placement had something to do with that decision?

The air quality was really poor in DFW today.

I've been to a few day games with the roof open in that stadium. It can be 75-85 degrees and feel like 95. Theres no air circulation, you just bake if you're not in the shade. They should've made the LF open to allow a breeze through the stadium.

They specifically said that it was breezy so they decided to leave it closed.

I can vouch for that as I played at Riverchase today and he humidity sucked by the end of the round.

They also said dew point was really high with the storms that can in yesterday. The concourse is a real hazard when the roof is open and it's high humidity

Sounds like the place was really well designed.

I got to be in the stadium for the first time this weekend and loved it. Just a really nice quality ballpark.

Yeah…..I'm good with roof being closed most of the time. People don't want to sweat their azzes off while trying to watch the game.

We went for the first time last season and could not have been more impressed/pleased with the in-stadium experience. People love to sh*t on the external appearance but the GLP is truly top notch.

The stadium isn't ugly at all while you're inside it. That's the only thing that really matters to me. We can continue to affectionately refer to it as " the grill" or "the shed" based on its outside appearance. It's a great ballpark and I'm glad that we're guaranteed to get in roughly 100-110 scheduled games played on time based on our park, road domes / retractable roofs, and road places where it never rains in the summer.

Rain delays were always a big inconvenience. We might still suffer one or 2 this season, but it will be a lot less now that we have the new park.

The fake turf is certainly ugly, which is kind of a big one.

I do love the open concourse though.
