Afraid to ask what that might mean.

His 2021 issues began with forearm tightness which was basically elbow inflammation that mostly shut him down. Got in front of it before it became TJ, so we'll see if this is similar. Still hoping it's somewhat of a very cautious trigger shy guy about pitching with anything feeling a bit off

He's never had TJ surgery i take it? Gulp.

Since that awful 1st professional start, Porter has been killing it (albeit in a small sample size). His season stats to date: 12 IP, 5 H, 10 BB (7 in that first game), 19 Ks and a 2.25 ERA.

To update the current stats on this thread's favorite mediocre middle infielder, Justin Foscue is hitting a robust .225 and playing his usual substandard defense. His walk/K rate is pretty good though (10 BB, 12 K in 80 AB).
.225 BA, .347 OBP, .400 SLG, .727 OPS.

Sorry, I know I keep piling on the guy, but his name keeps getting tossed around as some sort of viable option for the Rangers this season and IMO he just isn't. I just hope he hits well enough to push up his trade value.

So we wait for a couple of weeks and the reevaluate. Hoping it clears up.

At this point I'd sit deGrom for at least a month. That's 2 exits in the last 3 outings. Would rather him be right 2nd half of the year than push it and he's out for the remainder.

That's at least 3 freaking starts, possibly more. So frustrating.
