Marc Church is another big BP arm in the minors to keep an eye on. Kid has pretty nasty stuff and averages 1-2 Ks an inning.

We had it. 4 outs away from victory.

Nobody could have predicted Bochy would have put LeClerc in up 2 runs with the bases loaded and 2 outs in the bottom of the 8th. The gasp could be heard all around MLB. It was no surprise to any Rangers fan that LeClerc walked in 2 runs in his 1st 2 batters.... 5 pitch walk and a 6 pitch walk. 8of11 pitches went for a ball.

I posted a few days ago, but Jung has the second highest whiff% on the team, and the second lowest contact % with balls in the zone. I would bet most of his swings and misses are on fastballs. Kid is really talented though and will catch up to the heaters eventually.

Awesome to see him make the adjustment and get on one of those. Kids going to be great. Mid game and mid at-bat adjustments are an elite trait.

Shout out to one of my best friends Jacob Newburn. He's one of the trainers for the Rangers and saw his bald head/silver beard in the dugout when Smith hit the oppo.

He did 12 years in the minors moving up from A ball all the way to the big leagues.
