Guess we're gonna find out what the players, Bochy, and staff have over these last 6 weeks.

Should be a $20 fine for ever ball not pitched by the Brewers. I've seen them ask for more new balls than any other pitching staff this weekend.

Yeah, top to bottom, everyone struggled making good contact this weekend. Too many strikeouts and pop outs in foul territory.

Seem to be pressing.

This series made no sense at all. I'm calling it a ****ing anomaly.

Milwaukee came in here ice cold. They got swept by the dodgers. Maybe the dodgers pissed them off.

We came into the series in decent shape, but just haven't been able to close out or win the last game of a series to save our lives. We laid massive turds in Oakland and at home against the angels where the lineup put up a total of zero runs. The loss to the giants was a punch in the balls, but we outplayed them 99% of the series in their own park so whatever.

The stats are ugly as *****

Milwaukee scored a total of 21 runs. One of the most pedestrian and easy lineups to get out in the entire league put up an average of 7 runs per game on our pitching staff. Pretty ridiculous.

Milwaukee tallied a total of 36 hits for an average of 12 hits per game. Once again…… these numbers are ugly as *****

Offense numbers are ugly as hell too

11 runs for an average of under 4 per game.

35 strike outs. Average of nearly 12 per game.

We just played unbelievably terrible.

The production we were getting out of the bottom of the lineup--Zeke, Leody, Jank, Smith, now JPM--has dropped off a cliff.

It will be an interesting last month (and hopefully playoffs) to say the least.

This roster is capable of missing the playoffs completely if, but it's also capable of being one of the last two teams standing if some players can just bounce back to simply average production and a few others truly return from injury.

Will Jung return and produce?
Will Eovaldi return and produce?
Is early injury-return of Heim simply a mini-slump or is this the "not 100%" version we're going to get?

Still think it's highly unlikely that we don't get a playoff spot in some capacity. I've been saying for the longest time that our floor is probably a wildcard.

Both the Rangers and Astros now have to worry about seattle. The Mariners last 10 games of the season include 7 vs Texas and 3 vs Houston. Just 3 games out now, they could be the favorites to win the division and the Rangers and Astros have to battle Toronto and maybe Boston for the last 2 wildcards.

Baltimore and Tampa now have a little cushion to hold onto the top seed and top wildcard spots.

I'd say unlikely, but not highly unlikely.

The "first team out" right now is Toronto at 69-56.

We're at 72-52.

That's not a chasm.
