I never post here but I need to let out some frustration. Complete crap by umpires. Crap pitch with two strikes to mochado and they have a free lead. Also could've had bases loaded but jung swung at ball four on 3-0 count. So much frustration.

Bochy obviously has the skins on the wall but he's never been known as manager that "pulls the right strings". He's not overly bad from a strategy standpoint, but when he's won it's been due to elite pitching.

I definitely question some moves he's made, but outside of a couple of guys, making bullpen decisions this year has largely been choosing what flavor of dog**** you prefer. So I'm sympathetic

Yeah, really can't blame Bochy too much -- our bullpen for the most part is small-sample-size success (or failure as it mostly is).

Don't really understand abandoning Bradford as early as he did to make it a bullpen game though. Bradford likely didn't have more than 1 more inning in him and certainly had escaped danger, but when you end the frame on a strikeout then I don't think going to said questionable bullpen to start the 4th is the prudent move.

The problem is that one near 40 pitch inning pretty much smokes a starter. To be out there that long throwing that many high stress pitches counts as a lot more work
