Man I'm not sure the all-star break will even help us. Every time we rest guys and they come back they do not play better. Hopefully the whole team doesn't stink it up after the break.

Getting taken to the woodshed by the nationals, a team almost as bad as the A's. Hopefully the mariners continue beating the Astros, and the rangers can win the series to keep a 3 game lead going into the break.

CY should be working those phones and taking dudes out to dinner over the All-Star, because sheesh we need another pitcher.

I'm not optimistic. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt after Houston cleaned their clocks, but if losing to your biggest rival doesn't light a fire in you and make you want to turn things around then I don't know what would.

The only positive I can say is that this ends a brutal stretch of what 30 games in 31 days? Offdays will be sprinkled in more consistently in the second half I think. We also don't have too many more intimidating or hard road locations left. It just seems like we've been in a funk for too long now and we've heard the phrase "thank god the Astros lost" way too often on this thread lately.
