Just to update, but it sounds like deGrom had a full UCL reconstruction.

Got bailed out there by bad base running. Gray did not look good at all, to start the game.

Gray looks awful. I know it happens, but he doesn't look confident at all and looks like he's pushing the ball rather than pitching.

I did do a bit of reading on the upcoming draft, and like previously said, there is a possibility that the Pirates opt for the "save some signing money and spread it out" approach by taking Max Clark under slot value. They did this with Henry Davis a few years ago, so there's a history as well. This would obviously push Crews and Skenes down a spot, but even then I still don't see them either of them making it to 4.

Skenes is too good of a fit with the Nationals and their needs, so I think he's a virtual lock to go 2. It has been reported that the Tigers would like a college bat, so if Crews and Langford are sitting there at 3, I highly highly doubt the Tigers would pass on Crews. We'd then have our pick of Langford or Jenkins, with reports being that it would be Langford before Jenkins.

All hell would break loose if Skenes got passed up by the Nats, because the Tigers desire for a college bat would likely have them skip Skenes as well. That being said, I still don't think any of that will happen and it will be chalk for the first 3 picks.

Back in the game. Now it's up to the bullpen to hold and give a chance to finish the comeback. The bullpen has been great lately.

BTW - what's wrong with Bochy psychically? His limp seems to be getting a little more pronounced. I've read he had knee and back surgeries in the last couple of years.

Just concerned about the length of the season and him holding up.
