If the Rangers win today, I could see them making a substitution being up 3-1 expecting all-hands-on-deck, for a finish.

If the Rangers don't win, they could hold on to the idea Adolis could be a huge PH.

For Scherzer, I don't think you really have anyone to add.

You might go with a symbolic move. You might go with the "reward" move, but I don't think anyone on the 40 is going to impress.

Jonathan Hernandez (26) - 109.2 IP over 4 seasons. Could be a guy who was once promising, gets the chance of a lifetime to be active during a WS game and suddenly puts it all together so we can trade him.

Yerry Rodriguez (25) - 14.2 Career IP in MLB.
Owen White (23) - 4.0 Career IP in MLB. Could be a bone.
Cole Winn (23) - Not a chance.

I could see tagging Owen White based on future expectations.

I could see a Jonathan Hernandez type bone thrown.

I missed Burke. Baseball-Reference has Anderson and Burke listed on the Active Roster instead of Bradford and Gray.

Burke (27) would be a good choice. 168.2 IP and Arb1 next year.

Tell them it's time to go now, or they can try again next year

if you have a DVR, just set it to record and when you get back start the game from the beginning. You might need to turn notifications off on your phone. But probably your best option if you don't want to get yourself in big trouble on the homefront.

This is the way. My youngest is in high school, so no walking duty for me. I'm in the driveway with beer in hand, passing out candy until, oh I don't know, about 7pm. Then the wife is in charge!
