Bligh Madris (pronounced bly mah-DRISS) is a 27-year-old from Las Vegas. He hits left and throws right. Astros acquired him from Detroit on Jan 3. Made MLB debut last year with PIT and hit .177 in 39 games.

Marty Costes was in big league last year, too. He’s a 27-year-old who went to the Univ. of Maryland. RH-hitting outfielder batted .306 last year with an .846 OPS combined a Double-A and Triple-A.

Add the Astros and ATT Sports Net to the growing list of RSNs going belly up. I hope that this is a good thing in the end and that somehow this does away with regional blackouts via streaming. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. I wonder how this effects people like Julia Morales, TK, and Blummer who are employees of ATT Sports Net?
